Way ahead!

Okay, I know Christmas was just over a few days ago, but if you are out and about like I have been you can tell that Valentine stuff is slowly popping up here and there. So I speed to Archivers to purchase some new paper (red of course) and got home and made a few little things. Tags and Heart cards have been made and are on their way out to a few of you to get the Valentine juices flowing.

Plus, if you leave your name and e-mail address I might pull out your name and YOU might get one yourself as well! Yes a little pre Valentine drawing.

Leave your name don't be shy.

Linda Harre YOU ROCK!

Linda,

Wow! That is all I can say..... You are an amazing artist! I love my new apron and so does my girl here. As soon as she saw it she wanted to wear it. Fit just right, but don't tell her that it's really for me.

Linda this world of ours is so small. My boss today decided to take me to a cute little store that he thought I would love and guess what....... It was called the RECYCLED ROSE.....

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

I was looking around this beautiful little store when I noticed all these great mixed media boxes that looked just like yours. I decided to ask the nice lady.... who made these and before she could answer I said.... ARE THEY MADE BY LINDA HARRE..... she said YES! WOWOWOWOWOWOW.... I could not believe I was in the little store that you have some of your art work in. ALL I COULD THINK WAS......what a small world.

We talked about RED LEAD and Lesley that works at read lead. She also knows Heidi and has never met Becky, but knows about BECKY.

I fell in love with this little store and promised I would be back when I had more time. I even told my boss to leave me there and pick me up later, but he didn't go for that...... I had an amazing lunch and a great afternoon.

I am dedicating the bottom pic to the awesome lady that attended me today. I believe her name is Sue and I apologize if I am wrong. She said she was messy I think not. I enjoyed talking to her and already told some of the ladies at work that we have to plan a Sat to go to her store.....

Sue thanks for the hospitatlity and Linda thanks for your friendship.

Michel Michel Michel

My good friend Michel sent me this adorable Christmas book. It's as cute as can be. Saturday night I sat in my quiet living room and just took in all the great little pages.

Thanks a whole bunch Michel!

more and more of my favorite things

Just a few more shots of my favorite things. I love all these old ornaments.
These pictures I took came out great and I thought I would share them with you.
These older ornaments are from Germany. The cute little snowman is new, but he is still as cute as a button.

Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye. I am still pulling stuff out and adding little things here and there.

ring a ding a ding

ole bells are ringing. Another thing to collect. I love these little bells. They are adorable. This I believe used to be a Christmas coursage. I have not found that many on my trips to the flea or antique malls. Ebay has a variety. So if you see a Christmas coursage when you are out and about grab it. They are fun to collect and add them to a bowl filled with other Christmas goodies!

dollies, dollies, dollies

Any info would be appreciated.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

At my first auction in Illinois, I attended a couple of months ago, this beauty was one of my purchases. She was only $5.00. I don't know how old she is, but you can tell she is by her look.

My boys have begged me to get rid of her as they find her kind of spooky. I love her and won't be getting rid of her soon. She now sits in my living room happily enjoying her home.

With camera in hand

As you can see I have been practicing taking pictures. One of my first loves was taking pictures and developing my own film. Well, I had given up photography for a while. Recently, I decided to take it up again and this is the outcome.

I have been thinking that maybe it's time to start selling some of my art or maybe make postcards of my photography. I don't know where to start. Etsy maybe? My problem is that I can't get rid of the stuff I make so it's going to be hard.

I would love to sell at the flea market or at an antique store and maybe travel back and forth to Chicago. This is my dream. Don't know if it will come true, but like I told my friend Jennifer I am throwing out to the universe.....
