some of my favorite old ornaments

I know some of you enjoy these wonderful old ornaments as much as I do. I believe Linda Harre was going to create an ornament wreath with hers. I decided that with my little collection I would just display them all over my home.

making paper goodies

Paper goodies are in the making. I have been busy creating a few Christmas cards and tags. I actually just had a friend order cards from me to send out. So of course, have to get that accomplished. I also decided to take out some of my decorations and I have hints of Christmas everywhere around my home.

Hope you had a wonderful and BLESSED Thanksgiving...... now let the Christmas holiday begin!

Dance anyone?

I know these cuties are popular. I have seen them on a couple of blogs
I was lucky to find all these for 25 cents. Don't know what I will do with
them, but they are fun!

perfect finds

Gosh darny I love the flea market.... you can find me Sunday mornings
wandering my local flea market trying to find some vintage goodies. Even though
it has been getting kind of chilly and there were not as many vendors there
were still more then a handful selling and I swear it's getting better and better. I don't know
what I am going to do with myself when it starts getting colder and I will have to sleep in on
Sundays.... I am sure I will visit my closest antique store more often.

creative holiday bug

I swear it has bit me....

Here are a few little things I made. Still
needed is a bit of gitter and tied ribbon.

What would Christmas decor be without a bit
of glitter!

What have you been working on?

ornament

well here is a little something I made that can be
added to a card or just hung up on a christmas tree.

I don't know what has come over me, but I have finally
started creating again.

Christmas itch, BIG TIME!

Okay, okay yes it was just Halloween the other day and yes Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but honestly I can't help it.......... I have the Christmas holiday itch badly......

It's in the air can you smell it?

I took a drive to Target and yes their Christmas decor is out. Received my Mary Engelbreit mag in the mail and yes Christmas from front to back. Jo Ann already has some of their decorations at 40% off.

I have it bad...... I already started making ornaments for my tree!

Can we just skip the Thanksgiving Holiday and jump right into Christmas, pretty please!

bella dama

While on a flea market visit this weekend this beautiful GERMAN 1/2 doll was the treasure find of the day. I believe it was meant to be, good karma, call it what you want.

A few months ago while visiting an antique mall in Columbia I ran across an identical doll as this beauty. I guess feeling guilty and not wanting to spend the money I left her behind.

I had a chance again to go to Columbia, MO for work and of course I took a sneak run to the antique mall where I had seen the doll previously. Again I left her behind thinking maybe one day......

Well as you can see here she is a twin if you will. She is now safely home with me where she will be cherished. I guess like the secret says I wished for her into the universe and WOW it worked.

THANKS!

Fall is in the air.......

took a long drive to the country today with my son and
friend Michel..... Looks like fall is right around the corner. You can smell
it in the air. Nothing like some good ole country fresh air. I will post more
pics of our awesome day.
