Yesterday, as I was browsing through my daily BLOG list, I ran into DENISE's BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS CARDS. WOW!!!!!! they are great and simple, but very artsy and I love them.

I was not going to make Christmas cards this year. NOT in the mood I guess. That is not my usual because I love Christmas and somewhere in my little space I have tons of paper and stamps that I could easily whip out at least simple cards to send this season. Don't know I was not inspired at all this year, but then all of a sudden BAM after seeing Denises something hit me. I sat on my floor and just began to make them one after another after another.............. I love them. They came out just right................

THANKS Denise for the inpiration. I will post them later today so check back if you would like. Maybe, I can inspire YOU a little......................

New Scrapbook Convention coming to ST. Louis

I read in a magazine that there will be a CK scrapbook convention coming to our town in April...............

I don't scrapbook, but I love the paper and embelishments that I incorporate into my cards or other stuff I make.

Can't wait.............................

I am finished with MY project piece I will be sending in to STampingtON for their call for art for the HOME........

Wish me luck. I actually have something else in mind and hopefully will start working on it soon so that I can mail that as well.

I am really excited about it. I usually do not send any of my stuff out to magazines, but I thought what the HECK right??????? My usual is to make something and if I really like it I keep it. I become attached...........

You will also notice that I keep changing my blog name. Actually, I think BE TRUE BE U is the one I will keep. Why? because lately, around me, it seems that I have been running into that phrase dealing with people.

so BE TRUE BE U is always the best way to go I think.................

JOB or JOBLESS???????

Okay, so since this is my blog/journal and I really need to get this out on paper or at least here I will share my decision well really it's not a decision I would like to make, but it's something that I need to do.

It's time for me to go back to work. It's been 4 years since I left my job at the Farm, State Farm that is, and the plan was for me to be off just for one year and as you all know time flies when you are having fun right...... well, the one year turned into four.

This is the big reason why I have been a little down in the dumps lately and have not really been in the mood of anything because this decision has been on my mind for a while. I knew this was coming because of little hints from my hubby here and there. Don't get me wrong I do want to go back to work, but the worry is my kids.

My four year old is so attached and I to him.......... I don't know if I can do it really, but I have come to the decision that starting Jan. I will start looking. I am going this Friday to check out day cares and maybe I will bring him along to pep him up a little about it....... Wow I feel a little bit better and maybe on Friday when I go check out the daycares by my house I will feel better about the decision.......

So wish me luck and hopefully this will work out for all of us here at the T household.

Thanksgiving came and went and I swear that I gained 10 pounds........ I had to taste test all the desserts that were brought over to my mom's house so yes it's my fault nobody else's.

I know that I am behind on my postings, but I really have not been in a blogging mood. Actually, I was busy making Christmas ATC ornaments for the ladies that wanted to trade. The ones I have already received are hanging on my CHRISTMAS tree for all to see. Well, nobody really comes over so it's just me admiring them when I pass by. Did you all know that there is a call for art in the LEGACY magazine. I think it said that they are looking for anything to do with home accessories like pillows, candles, candle holders, wall hanging thingies etc........ They will be publishing a new book like the TRANSPARENCY book I guess...... All artwork due by FEB 16, 06.

I went to the Saturday Monday sale yesterday and I really would love to be rich to have been able to buy something from everyone....... Everyone's art was BEAUTIFUL. I have been trying to be good so I did not purchase what I really wanted to so I bought a few little things to make me happy.... I know something from everybodys booth would make me very happy but realistically I had to be good. YUK.......... I wanted to be bad......

Okay, I promise that soon I will post something. I have been making a few things and I am now thinking of my Valentine atc maybe I will post it so don't laugh. I think my atc fairy muse was not visiting, but I will post it so that you can get a good laugh...........

This entry in my blog is long overdue

I am human and as like a few of us out there I have my good days and sometimes very bad days. I am a sensitive person and like DENISE said yesterday sometimes little happenings that don't bother other people for me as a sensitive person these little happenings are BIG......................................

I don't enjoy being TOOO sensitive, but I have finally accepted that that is how GOD made me. Maybe, as I get older I will change or maybe not, but I need to start accepting myself for me GOOD OR BAD................

When I am down in the dumps the only person that is always there for me and always has been is GOD. I am taking this entry post to THANK HIM FOR EVERYTHING. He is my rock when I am so in the hole. He is there when my parents don't even want to be.................... HE is there when I am sick, happy, lonely and when I am having my overly sensitive times. HE LOVES me for who I am and also the great thing about him is that he UNDERSTANDS me when I feel that nobody else does................

I am truly blessed in many ways and HE is the one that I have to thank............ HE BELIEVES IN ME UNCONDITIONALLY and when I fall and make terrible mistakes HE still loves me.............

THANK YOU GOD and I truly LOVE YOU for you are there for me eternally..........................

Christmas signs everywhere

Christmas is everywhere. Don't know if you have noticed, but everywhere you go there are little signs of it fast approaching.

I am not complaining I love CHRISTMAS and I was thinking this morning should I put my Christmas tree down stairs in our family room or upstairs near the fireplace......... We would enjoy it more downstairs, but maybe I should stay with the usual tradition of the upstairs family room................

All these decisions. I don't know what's stopping me, but I would like to start decorating...... Putting out all my little santa clauses and mini christmas trees that I have collected over the years.............. I am ready to sprinkle fake snow all over my decorated tables..................... I need to stop dreaming........

Well, gotta go my 4 year old beckons.................. gotta run............

Went this morning to have donuts with my kiddies and laughed as I saw that my youngest had sugar all over his face all the way to his ears and he just sat there enjoy his donut not even knowing he looked very funny. You know how those original krispy kreme donuts are very messy but very yummy right??????

We went to church to thank GOD for everything he gives us everyday and I am truly grateful.

My husbands back in CHINA or SHANGHI for a week so one good thing is that I don't have to cook.

Yesterdays ADVENTURE

My son and I decided to take a little ride over to OLD ST. Charles to walk along the river. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL day a little chilly, but bright and sunny and lots of fallen LEAVES.

Instead of walking by the river we walked on the train tracks. I don't know but I think my son may be a reincarnated train engineer. HE LOVES trains don't know why, but I guess he doesn't understand why I love what I love.

WE had a great time jumping and walking through all those beautiful crunchy dried leaves in colors of yellow, brown, red, orange. It was fun. I let myself go a little and pretended I was four again.

I then became mommy and we walked by all those little shops down there. I love that area. Love the homes, the great little shops all dressed up inside ready for CHRISTMAS................. I need to make a few friend and I dates to go visit the little shops. I was not able to do any looking yesterday because as soon as I said let's go in to the store my 4 yr old decided he had a headache. THE HEADACHE excuse I guess I don't blame him. It's more fun walking and rummbling through those leaves...........

Feeling terrible in my little world

I had to do something that I really did not want to do, but it was for the best of all. I gave my cute little SUSHI away to a Chihuahua rescue here in M.O.

I feel like ---- about it. I feel like I failed him. How could I do this to my little dog I just wanted the best for him and I think our home was not the best at this time.

He was really a good doggie when my 4 yr old was not around and when my other dog was not around. It also was not fair to our other dog TOBIE because it seems that SUSHI came and took over. Took over his food plate, took over our family room, just took over and TOBIE being a very passive dog did not do anything to stand his ground.

I am sorry SUSHI I hope that I did not let you down and that you will be much happier with your new home. I know KIM will take good care of you.

Changed my mind or should I say

changed my Christmas atcs. I am very happy that I finished my Christmas atcs today.......... I went to RL yesterday and bought all this great CHRISTMAS paper that I had to use instead.................

So today while washing, and sweeping and vaccuming somehow I got all ten atcs made and I think they came out nice......... five are the same, but the other 5 are a tad different............

if I have a chance I will post it tomorrow or the next.............

We met early this morning to go to this great antique mall that is on 94. We did freeze our little b--- off for a little bit waiting for them to open at 10...... and you are right Christine as soon as we got in there I had forgotten how chilly it was.

Christine found this old vintage birdcage and a very pretty pop up valentine card and I don't remember what picture she bought.

I was searching for my treasures and I found a whole lot especially this old picture of a classroom with all these cute little kids. Now that is a treasure to look at. I regret though that I did not buy this vintage steel thingy that I liked. I left it behind and of coures now I am thinking I should of bought it.

I also got a bag of old buttons and a roll of seam binding that had 100 yards..................Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

We had a good time and if I didn't have to leave we could of been there all day. I just love antique malls especially the ones that are so nicely decorated. I wonder if I moved into one those spaces would they ever notice me...............................

Okay, they are all basically the same. Maybe, just a tad different, but I am glad because I thought I was going to have to pass this month again.

So I will be there bright and early at Red Lead on Sat. to turn in these babies and also to enjoy Carol's demo at 12:00.........................

LUCKY ME!!!!!!!!!!!

A few months ago I was attending meditation classes in this little shop right on HWY K. On one of our visits, they decided to make something that we carry with us everyday a lucky charm. I decided to take the ring that my brother game me a few years ago. I love this ring because it's pretty plus because my brother gave it to me for my birthday. Plus, he bought it at an antique store so it's kind of vintagE.................

So it has become my LUCKY CHARM and I wear it all the time now................ No, I have not won the lottery or any expensive trips, but I am very lucky in other ways.

Yesterday, actually I was thinking maybe my ring has lost it's luck. Maybe, I need to get back to that little store and have the lady wish luck back into it again. BUT I WAS WRONG.....................

I am lucky and I will tell you why. Yesterday, I got this really cute HALLOWEEN atc from my friend BECKY F. with this really cute halloween card. Also, I was given this BEAUTIFUL FRIDA ATC made by SHARON W........................... LUCKY MMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE........ LUCKY MEEEEEEEEEEEE...........

So NOW I know my ring is working over time......... But, seriously I am lucky, lucky because I have friends, lucky because I have my two boys I always wanted and lucky because I have a husband that works his butt off to give us everything we need.....

It's been a while

I guess I got caught up in my life and forgot to blog for a while.

It's been crazy around here. My kids soccer schedules have taken over my life...... PRACTICE, GAMES AND TOURNAMENTS oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do enjoy it though................It's also very stressful becaue you want them to do GREAT always and we have to remember that they are still little kids...............

We lost the tournament to this great group of kids from the Gallagher team......... If you saw them play you would say WOW....... They were small in size compared to my son, but they were fast and those little feet just knew exactly when to hit those balls..... My husband says they have great foot skills and I believe it..........

This is our second loss to this team. Not to be snobish or to be to braggy, but we were used to winning all of our games and now I guess we met our match....................

Well, you can't win them all right...................

Soccer is still going on for a few more weeks and hopefully we will get a break in between at least so that I can make a few RED LEAD demos.................... before something else soccer related comes along.........

I guess it's really not MY life anymore at least not at this point in time................

It's been a while

Wow it's been a while since I updated this little blog of mine. I guess I have not been in a blogger mood lately. I have been making alot of little things and have not had time to add anything.

Things I have been making:

1. A Day of the Dead FRIDA shadow box

2. Papier Mache box covered in really nice scrapbook paper to store some dead roses that I am keeping as a keepsake............

3. Little wall hanging thingy

4. 4 x 4 page I did for ReD Leads chunky book swap (finally done and turned in)

5. Frida swap through Yahoo

6. Day of the Dead dolls for Bambi Doe Blake swap

Gosh is that it..................... I hope so............ I think I made all the dead lines...........
