My dress shadow box

I made this dress/shadow box for an upcoming demo I will be doing at RED LEAD PAPERWORKS here in M.O.

I thinks it's in October. I enjoyed making this and I hope you all come down in Oct. to see how I made it.

They came and now they are gone

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! What a great Anniversary date my husband and I had at COLD PLAYS concert last night....

It started off with an early dinner at MIMIS CAFE in Chesterfield Valley. GREAT FOOD and great atmosphere. Then we were off... By the time we got there, around 7ish, there were tons of people already sitting on the lawn. I remember those lawn days. We got lucky that we got tickets when we did because we still had a chance to buy tickets for seats. We were way back there, but we were right in the middle and my husband was nice enough to hold me while I was standing in my seat so that I could see them way up there.

The UMB pavillion has a good set up where they have these big screen tvs on the side so that you do get a chance to see the band . I wish we would have been right up front, but I can't have everything right.

You know we just had a great time. The band was AWESOME. They sang great and they were very nice. They talked to the crowd in between songs. One of their songs is called YELLOW and these great BIG yellow ballons filled with confetti dropped from the top of the pavillion and everyone was hitting them and they were just floating all over.

I LOVE THIS BAND........... I would go see them again in a minute. My husband even danced. WE were dancing together. It was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! We both had a fantastic time and at the end of the night my honey thanked me for having gone to the concert with him. HOW SWEET..........

What is going on tonight????

Well it's Cold Play night..... I can't wait. The last time I went to a concert was to see Alanis Morsette (oops did I misspell her name) right before I got married and I went with my girlfriend Michelle D. it was okay I think....

I used to love going to concerts..... some past concerts on my list are:

THE CURE, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, Sade, Alanis, My life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Sineade O'connor, Santana, gosh and the list goes on........

I will let you know tomorrow how it went........

I love the DOORS......................

Everytime I hear them on the radio I kick myself in the booty because I don't have any of their music.......

So today while out and about I decided to look at the cd section and what was there in front of me, but THE BEST OF THE DOORS cd. Finally, after all these years of saying that I would buy it one day I DID it. I bought it and I jammed all the way home. I took the long way home so that I could enjoy listening to them in my car.....

So today I broke on through to the other side and purchased something that I should of had a long time ago.....

I bet you know what I am listening to right now right..... Now all I need is some BLACK LEATHER PANTS and a HARLEY......

Just thought I would

share something that came to mind yesterday............

I am always thinking,thinking, thinking, thinking, about the past, present or whatever who knows. My head never stops day or night...........

I remember a while ago I took a picture of a certain person.......It was someone in my past. I took the picture at lincoln park zoooo....... it was just a simple picture the person was sitting on a bench and looking directly at the camera.... simple right????

When I got the picture developed and I saw this picture it hit me in a strange way...... I felt like I could see right through this person through the picture............. As soon as I saw this picture and the way HE looked into the camera I knew HE was not the person I thought he was......... I knew he would betray me or had already done so......

I will never forget the look on his face and this is something that has always stayed on my mind and till this day if I ever find that picture I will know that I was right........... I captured a LIAR/BETRAYER

for what???? To bring out my HALLOWEEN decor. I have been patinetly waiting, but I think I won't wait any longer.

I love Halloween...................I don't go all out as I would like to, but I do decorate and who knows I am sure there are a few neighbors that might think of me as a little kooky, but who cares. It's just a great day to enjoy and have fun.......
