Yesterdays mail

brought to me this box filled with beautiful enamel vintage pins from my friend Linda Harre..... Linda you are tooooo good to me and not to be a martyr or anything like that,but you truly spoil me and I really don't deserve it.... I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this generous gift.... I wanted you to now that I washed my jean jacket and I already have the blue flower pin on it and can't wait to wear it out today..... Thanks so much for bringing a smile to my face....

look what we found in the pine tree... you can't really tell, but there are five new babies in this little ole nest........ Aren't they cute...... 

My day adventures today took my son and I to

old st. charles... Wish you could see what a beautiful day it was today... a little breezy, but just beautiful... My son and I took a long walk around old St. Charles and also by the old train tracks... I did not get to go to any stores because first of all my son is very curious and likes to touch everything plus it was just tooo nice out to be indoors... We got a bit of ice cream and just enjoyed sitting on one of the benches out there and enjoyed the day and scenery and the cute little birdies that came by us without being scared... We gave them little pieces of our ice cream cones and they loved it....

I was very happy to share this mommy and son time since YES my date to start work is APRIL 10th....... I just found out earlier this afternoon.... I am very happy about it, but also a little sad because it's a week away and actually okay it's on my birthday.... When she told me I was thinking in my mind not on my birthday pls.... OH WELL!!!!!!!! That's life and I am thankful that I at least have a job now.......

truly beautiful

just wanted to share with you that TODAY is I swear the most beautiful day I have seen in a while... THE SUN IS BRIGHT, THE GRASS is green and the SKY is the bluest blue...... No cleaning for me today... I am running out to go and enjoy this day I am not going to waste this day, sweeping and washing and vaccuming.........

okay last night I got inspired so here are few pictures of things I made.. Mostly tags or cards...... 

I'm a soccer MOM

Soccer starts in full force this Sat.
Two soccer games, a practice baseball game in between and then in the evening we are taking the kids to see the Steamers play their soccer game... I am going to be soccered out this weekend.....

I am loving these buttons I bought a
couple of months ago... They come in this little plastic bag, but for the life of me I can't remember who makes them. The colors are great though.. 

woke up today

with a better attitude... Even though we might have rain again today I am feeling great..... I don't mind the rain you know... because it brings life and who doesn't enjoy a good thunderstorm once in a while... the other day it was just me feeling blah, but today I am trying to be my usual normal kooky self... I actually even feel like making something... with all the beautiful inspiring work on all my favorite blogs (on the side bar over there you see it) how can I not want to create today........ I feel a tag or a card wanting to be made..

The sun did come out

thanks ladies for all your nice comments on my gloomy day yesterday.... The beautiful sun did come out today and cheered me up a bit...
I don't know, but I have been in such a rut... I had such a good weekend, but for some reason instead of feeling like I felt on Saturday today I am feeling like I am on cloud ZERO...... I am thankful because nothing bad is going on.... I guess I am feeling like I am in LIMBO waiting around for something to happen.... I did interview today for another insurance company, but it seemed like they were asking me questions that really did not pertain to what I did at my previous job... I don't think they did their homework on my resume and maybe I was not as interested as I thought I was. Plus, their hours would not work around my MOMMY schedule at home.
I don't know. I believe in the phrase it's not meant to be so maybe right now I am where I am supposed to be, but in a way I am kind of stuck in the middle somehow..... floating in the unknown... don't like the feeling.
