My favorite color is green. No, not because
it's the color of money....i'm not that kind of girl.... I really don't know why it's just a beautiful color in my book.

Prayer request PLS

yesterday my friend lori and I decided to get together at the Chocolate Cafe and talk for a while. Out of this friendly visit Lori told me about this man named MIKE (that she doesn't even know she just recently met his sister at the church she attends) has just found out his body is full of cancer and they are just giving him 6 to 8 weeks to live. Can you imagine someone telling you that you only have 6 to 8 weeks to live....... I CAN'T. I don't know his last name all I know is that he just told his children this past week that he has cancer...... Not that he might not be around much longer........

I AM ASKING FOR PRAYER for this man. This is all I can ask...... IF YOU pray pls include him in your daily prayers......... HIS name is Mike........ PLS PLS PLS remember him in your prayers.......... I thank you and GOD BLESS.................

I agree with Linda......Picasa is quite fun and
it lets you play around with your pictures.....
Here is an atc I did a while ago and it was
altered using Picasa funtions.........

that Linda very nicely sent me. 

Thanks LINDA for all the great
fabric scraps you sent me and all the
other goodies: buttons, feathers, wire,
etc....

I couldn't wait to use the fabric so I altered
this journal.............

my life update and a GREAT SURPRISE

I just wanted to update you on my crazy life here....... I did get a job... I think I will be starting
maybe in two weeks. I don't have a set date yet, but I am sure I will be getting a call this week sometime from State Farm with my start date.............. Back to the farm I go.... One good thing about getting rehired is that I get my senority back (10 years) and the same pay I was making when I left 4 1/2 years ago to take care of my children......

Another great thing that happened to me today was a big surprise from Linda...... If you go
on my links on the side you will see her blog called studio stuff girls........... She made me this
BEAUTIFUL purse for me........... I truly appreciate it Linda.... You even made it extra special by adding my younger sons picture on it.....

Let me tell you all that LINDA and I have never met.... We met through my blog.... I will appreciate it even more because of that reason.... She is such a special lady that she made this for me not even knowing me personally. For that reason this purse will be cherished and I promise I will take good care of it... I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I really don't know how I will ever repay you. I thank you for your KINDNESS and I truly don't deserve this. God Bless you always!!!!!!!!!!

I recently started checking out this blog called
Inspire ME Thursday..........Every week they
add different themes for art that you may want to create.

I think last week was make a piece of art using
your 5 senses. Touch, feel, smell etc.....

This coming week the theme is to create a work of
art not using your senses. Well, here is my
little card I created not doing my usualllllllllllll.....
I love it, but I am kind of finiding it hard not to
want to add something to it. Like ribbon or brads
or something.
