This is the Frida tag atc that I received from Sharon W. I am sorry that the scan does not do it justice........

There is actually a pocket made of sheer material and it is stitched to the base of the atc. The Frida tag goes inside. Frida is stamped on small tag made of copper....................

Okay, I had something I wanted to write about and okay, okay I just remembered. I drew a blank there. SORRY...............

You all know I LOVE HALLOWEEN and if you didn't now you know. I have been having major trouble creating my Halloween ATCs for Red Lead's Halloween swap due this weekend. Dont' know why, but gosh darney I just sat down an hour ago and whipped out ten cute atcs I think you will enjoy and they are all handmade NO photo copies this time ladies. Okay, they are all basically the same. Maybe, just a tad different, but I am glad because I thought I was going to have to pass this month again.

So I will be there bright and early at Red Lead on Sat. to turn in these babies and also to enjoy Carol's demo at 12:00.........................

LUCKY ME!!!!!!!!!!!

A few months ago I was attending meditation classes in this little shop right on HWY K. On one of our visits, they decided to make something that we carry with us everyday a lucky charm. I decided to take the ring that my brother game me a few years ago. I love this ring because it's pretty plus because my brother gave it to me for my birthday. Plus, he bought it at an antique store so it's kind of vintagE.................

So it has become my LUCKY CHARM and I wear it all the time now................ No, I have not won the lottery or any expensive trips, but I am very lucky in other ways.

Yesterday, actually I was thinking maybe my ring has lost it's luck. Maybe, I need to get back to that little store and have the lady wish luck back into it again. BUT I WAS WRONG.....................

I am lucky and I will tell you why. Yesterday, I got this really cute HALLOWEEN atc from my friend BECKY F. with this really cute halloween card. Also, I was given this BEAUTIFUL FRIDA ATC made by SHARON W........................... LUCKY MMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE........ LUCKY MEEEEEEEEEEEE...........

So NOW I know my ring is working over time......... But, seriously I am lucky, lucky because I have friends, lucky because I have my two boys I always wanted and lucky because I have a husband that works his butt off to give us everything we need.....

It's been a while

I guess I got caught up in my life and forgot to blog for a while.

It's been crazy around here. My kids soccer schedules have taken over my life...... PRACTICE, GAMES AND TOURNAMENTS oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do enjoy it though................It's also very stressful becaue you want them to do GREAT always and we have to remember that they are still little kids...............

We lost the tournament to this great group of kids from the Gallagher team......... If you saw them play you would say WOW....... They were small in size compared to my son, but they were fast and those little feet just knew exactly when to hit those balls..... My husband says they have great foot skills and I believe it..........

This is our second loss to this team. Not to be snobish or to be to braggy, but we were used to winning all of our games and now I guess we met our match....................

Well, you can't win them all right...................

Soccer is still going on for a few more weeks and hopefully we will get a break in between at least so that I can make a few RED LEAD demos.................... before something else soccer related comes along.........

I guess it's really not MY life anymore at least not at this point in time................

I think this ATC is my favorite. I love the others as well, but I truly love this one..................................

It's been a while

Wow it's been a while since I updated this little blog of mine. I guess I have not been in a blogger mood lately. I have been making alot of little things and have not had time to add anything.

Things I have been making:

1. A Day of the Dead FRIDA shadow box

2. Papier Mache box covered in really nice scrapbook paper to store some dead roses that I am keeping as a keepsake............

3. Little wall hanging thingy

4. 4 x 4 page I did for ReD Leads chunky book swap (finally done and turned in)

6. Day of the Dead dolls for Bambi Doe Blake swap

Gosh is that it..................... I hope so............ I think I made all the dead lines...........
