I guess I sometimes still can create. It has gotten harder.
Sometimes nothing comes out and sometimes it does.

More flea market finds

My friend Michel decided to join me this early morning
to attend my local flea. We had fun plus we
found some good finds.... the beautiful mirror was only $1.00.

We got these beautiful old dolls $25.00 for three. The ole clock
was $3.00 and it really works. The cup and saucer was a great find
and I am sending it to my swap partner if I can part with it. Misc
dishes ranged from a few for a $1.00 and the prices went up to $3.00.
All in all we got a few great treasures...

My friend Linda put the itch in me to start collecting vintage
ornaments... I found a basket full of these beauties this past weekend.

Linda plans on making a beautiful ornament wreath for Christmas. I will just
display mine in a glass bowl or maybe around a candle... Can't wait for Christmas to
come around.....

What a fun weekend......My son was in a baseball tournament all the way in Sullivan, MO. It was a hike from our home, but fun was had by all... good ole family fun..good ole baseball fun.

The younger kiddies had fun running around after each other and of course shopping at the concession stand for gum, candy, hotdogs, drinks.... You name it they had it.

On another note, I did get a chance to run to my local flea and I finally scored a wicker set. I could not bring the love seat home because I still had baseball stuff in my trunk for todays final games. I will run over next weekend to pick up the rest. It was luck plus the price was great for all three pieces. Would of been nice if it was a little bit more shabbier, but I am sure in time it will be just right.....

I will have to add more pics of the other goodies I found. My friend Linda Harre has me started now on collecting old christmas ornaments (which by the way I got a nice size basket filled with vintage ornaments for $5.00). I am not going to make a wreath. My plan is to fill up a bowl or a glass dome/container... I think if I start now, I should have a good amount collected by November when my flea starts closing down for the season... I promise to add more pics soon.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend as well...... just me

Living with anxiety

don't know if you know this about me, but a year ago I suffered my first major anxiety attack. having gone through some life altering changes, I was not ready for the stress that was going to be thrown my way. Now a year later, taking myself off of medication, I still struggle, but I am trying hard to except it and try to live with it. being a perfectionist, I blame my mother for this, is my down fall. I hate making mistakes and when I do, that is when stress comes at me 100% causing it's return..... Praying has helped and laying off all that caffeine I was drinking. I still don't feel and probably will never feel at peace, but I try to live with it. I thought I would share just in case you might be suffering from this as well. YOU are not alone... just me!

St. Louis Gyspy Caravan

What fun was had by all.. I took my son and two
friends of mine Leslie and Michel. Thank you all for
the great time I had shopping and eating and a little more
shopping for all the great finds we all found. Another exciting thing
that happened was that I ran into my friend Linda Harre from Studio Stuff.

Hello Linda! It is amazing that even though there were probably hundreds of people
that attended the caravan some how Linda and I were meant to bump into each other.
Call it fate or it was just meant to be we crossed paths and met again. AMAZING! It was nice
seeing you and hopefully I was not to sweaty or smelly...because that sun was really beating down
on us.... I think that is why I finally threw in the towel and I did not finish all of the show...

Pictures below of all the goodies we found...
