Well, it did snow here in Missouri and work was cancelled.

So here are a few pictures of what I did on my day off..... took us at least two hours to clear our driveway. Good excercise and lot's of wet, cold fun was had by my litttle family of four....

I hope they cancel work tomorrow so that I can stay home and create some more goodies....

The little box in the middle is a shaker box that contains snow.....

Celebrate the SEASON!

I will be leaving soon to be with my family in Chicago for
the Thanksgiving holiday....

I am wishing you an happy day as well in the company of
your loved ones be either friends or family.....

tis the SEASON for giving THANKS!

Food for Thought

The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely! atc.

sicky icky... that is how I am feeling right now... I took off from work
today to go see my doc because of this terrible pain I have in my throat
YES she said... You have STREP.... So like a good girl I went and
submitted my prescription and now I have to take 3 pills of amoxicilan per day till they are finished....

I swear the older I am getting the sicker I am getting. I wish I was in my
20's again because I swear that I was never sick and tired like I am now at 37.

At least the day did not go to waste because I got to stay home and wash
and I spent the day with my younger son. Hopefully, they won't get it, but who knows. As careful as I have been to not spread my germs around I am sure before it leaves this home it will get one of the others... 

 

Linda, here are a few of my glass domes and what I have
displayed inside. I love these and have been lucky
enough to find some at good prices....

I think once Christmas get's closer I will add snow and
maybe a little Christmas Tree...

last Sundays treasures

Last Sunday I attended a vintage paper
convention.... Not knowing what to expect since I had never attended before I didnt take that much money... Well from the posted pictures here you can see that it was not a flop.

I met my good friend Michel there and a few hours later and down to a few nickels and pennies I left happy as can be.

I left plenty behind because like I said I didn't bring a whole lotta money.

The nice lady at the front told me they will be
having another one in February 2007. If you
would like more info drop me a line
and bring your cash. I know I will
start stashing a little here and there
awaiting next years Convention.
