For you JLO
Here is another pic Jen that I was telling you about.
Here is to you for always believing in me when I don't.
For always thinking of me as artistic when I don't think
I am.
For all that confidence you have that one day I will do
something with my creative ability that you think I have.
You go girl! Keep on believing.......one day I might also believe.

auction findings
Wow! What a beautiful fallish day yesterday and that was great
because my first auction I attended was held outside in a nice IL country ranch.
When I got there I did not expect to see boxes and boxes and boxes of stuff. Actually, I
did not know what to expect. Above are a few pics that I took of some of the goods that belonged
to the previous owner.
The auction was great. I dragged my friend Donna from work with me and we had a blast. We get along
great and she loves junkin as much as I do. Well, I wouldn't call it junk because for me it's I guess the thrill of
finding something old and loved. I got caught up bidding and that is easily done especially when someone else
is wanting the same things you want.
It was fun though and here are a few pics that I took of some of my acquisitions. I did not get the tattered chair
even though I was tempted. I should of picked up the white chair next to it though. Not sure if it ever sold.
I did though get an old shabby picture frame that I have not taken a picture of (batteries need to be recharged). I am
so tempted to start selling some of my stuff at the flea.
Maybe soon enough..................

An IL AUCTION
I am on my way to an auction tomorrow. Don't know
what to expect and don't know if I will end up bidding and winning
or bidding and loosing or even if I will even be able to afford
anything. If I do get lucky of course I will share my findings with
you. I am excited because looks like the house is packed with stuff.
I already saw a china head and a few vintage pics and baskets on their
website let's see if it's affordable. If not then that's okay there is always
the flea market.

Grandma's treasures
My grandmother recently passed away at 98. What an amazing woman! Strong, creative, hard worker.
One day maybe, I will share a few stories. She loved nature and had a beautiful garden. I just wanted to share
with you a few of her old linens my mother was so nice to give to me to remember her by.
They are truly beautiful! My mom said that she had tons more, but only brought back with her a few of my Grandma Chole's collection.
I plan on going to visit her grave next year if GOD permits.
Love ya nina and I will truly take care of these precious gifts.

My friend Lori came to pick me up to take me to the South County antique mall and this is where
I found this lovely hat filled with millinery flowers...... found some 1920 pics which I love to collect. If the
weather cooperates I want to attend my local flea, but who knows it's been storming all day today......

Labor day weekend fun in the sun
Some pics I took this weekend of the fun we had out in our yard.
When it's hot I enjoy going outside and getting wet with the hose.
Sorry if this ain't your idea of fun, but We enjoy just splashing water
all around us. Also, the furry cutie in the middle is my new addition to
the family PAPASH! Isn't he cute..... His cuteness is saving him because
this little booger has kept me up part of the night this past week. He wakes
up around 3 and 4 and also 5 a.m. to go do his business outside. I then have to
get up at 6:00 to go to work. I got a puppy becuase I was wanting a baby and
since that is not going to happen my mom gave me a puppy.... Don't know how long
he is going to stay. I am trying to be patient and not give up and throw in the towel
especially when you take him out and then he comes in and does his business inside.
Oh well, he is adorable though.......
